Lesson 6 – Creating an outline of your yearbook
- Before diving into the process of creating a yearbook, we recommend starting with a plan in the form of an outline.
- An outline serves as a high-level roadmap for the information that will be found in the yearbook and the in which it will appear.
Start by…
- Discussing as a team the non-negotiable content (class photos, team photos etc.)
- Brainstorming Ideas for additional sections to make your team’s yearbook stand out from previous yearbooks (arts & culture sections, community service etc.)
- Outlining the order in which the sections will appear.
This outline may change and evolve as you start to build your yearbook but it will nevertheless serve as a great starting point and general guide.
