The Family app is being developed around selected device calendars, a visual timeline, the next commitment, and calendar overlap review. The source-rendered screen shown here uses sample household events rather than a real family's calendar.
Link school information deliberately.
The planned school connection provides school-released information for verified linked children. The captured Family build does not enable school schedule connections. It does not connect to a child's Google Classroom or Google Calendar account directly.
Keep home and school access separate.
The product's access design keeps personal and household calendars separate from school access. Parents see only the child information their verified links and school sharing permissions authorize. Schools do not receive access to personal calendar events through the planned parent view.
One app, appropriate access.
The intended connected app provides Student and Parent experiences according to verified membership. Student calendars, assignments, and known-associate messaging remain development work. Student messaging requires parent and school approval. Open the web interface now; published mobile download destinations will be linked from the main website.
